SRKKF recognises the meritorious teachers for his/her outstanding achievement or contribution in academics and other socially relevant areas which may be determined by a Special Jury consisting of individuals of wisdom.

  • So far, Six professors of IIMA have been honored with this significant award.
  • In the years 2024, 2021, 2020 and 2017, Prof. Saral Mukherjee, an associate professor of Operations and Decision sciences at IIM-A. His elective, “Elephants and Cheetah: Systems, Strategy and Bottlenecks” focusing on the supply chain responsive practices is immensely popular.
  • In the year 2023, Prof. Balagopal Gopalakrishnan, an assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at IIM-A was presented with this award. His research areas are in the subjects of Corporate Finance, Banking and Financial intermediation, Gold consumption/investment of households and central banks.
  • In the year 2022, Prof. Debjit Roy, the chair professor of Operations and Decision Sciences at IIM-A. His research interests are to estimate the performance of logistical and service systems such as container terminals, automated distribution centers, vehicle rental, healthcare, and restaurant systems.
  • In the year 2019, Prof. Viswanath Pingali, a professor in the economics area at IIM-A was presented with this award. His research interests includes digital markets, behavioural economics and healthcare.
  • In the year 2018, Dr. Ravindra H. Dholakia, a faculty of economics and public systems at IIM-A was presented this award. His contributions in regional economic development, economic analysis and policy, international economics and health economics is outstanding.
  • In the year 2016, Dr. Arindram Banerjee, Professor of Marketing at IIMA was presented with this award. His research interests are in the areas of econometric modelling of customer response to marketing mix variables in the context of a retail environment, using both aggregated and individual level purchase data.
