Born in a remote village of Dudhala located in Gujarat, He has a humble and rooted beginning. His journey commenced in 1964 as he set out towards Surat, Gujarat, not only to support his family, but also with a dream in his eyes to outperform, and since then his legacy has conveyed it all.

SRK Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF) is a knowledge arm of SRK Exports Pvt. Ltd.. SRKKF was initiated for orchestrating a Grand Tomorrow, Grand India. Focused and resilient belief of ‘Giving back to the Society’ has been an inspiration for setting up of SRKKF.
Govind Dholakia’s dream to establish a recognized institution for imparting knowledge about diamonds and enable advanced research in the diamond industry saw light when he founded SRK Institute of Diamonds (SRKID) in 2014.
SRK Institute of Skills (SRKIS) was launched on 15th August 2021 under the umbrella of SRK Knowledge Foundation with the objective to provide training and skill development programs in various domains.
Govind Dholakia loves to read spiritual and religious books and have read almost 40 biographies. Some of his favorites are the biographies of our Father of Nation- MK Gandhi, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Abraham Lincoln. Govind Dholakia has his own library where one will find all interesting books.
